We started The Larder because we couldn't find the food we were looking for.
Not food that was merely labelled healthy. Not food that replaced one bad ingredient with another. Real food — made with real fats, real ingredients, and a real understanding of what the body actually needs to thrive.
What we make
We make small-batch keto food delivered across Bangalore: bone broths, compound snacking butters, lacto-fermented sauerkrauts, carnivore pizzas, heat-and-eat meals, and high-fat condiments. Everything is ketogenic by default. No seed oils, no refined sugar, no industrial processing.
Our conviction is simple: fat is not the enemy — anything that spikes your blood sugar is. When you remove the sugar and the seed oils and replace them with real, nourishing fats, something shifts. Energy stabilises. Inflammation drops. Cravings quiet down. Weight starts to move. You feel, often for the first time in years, genuinely well.
Who we made it for
Our food is for people who want to feel better in their bodies — whether you are already keto, just starting out, managing your weight, dealing with inflammation, or simply tired of food that leaves you hungry an hour later.
It is also for the curious. For the person who has heard about ketogenic eating and wondered if it could work for them. For the lifelong vegetarian reconsidering everything. For the busy person in Bangalore who wants to eat well without spending two hours in the kitchen.
Who we are
The Larder was founded by Augustine and Chetana, two friends with a shared conviction that food should nourish you without compromising on pleasure. Augustine has been experimenting with and healing through a carnivore lifestyle since October 2024. Chetana, a midwife and health entrepreneur, made the leap from lifelong vegetarian to keto in April 2026 — and hasn't looked back.
We are our own first customers and our own first test cases. Everything we sell is something we eat ourselves.
